Alba Iulia
Between mountains and valleys, Alba Iulia is undoubtedly one of oldest city of Romania. This citadel is the Vauban Type, was built between 1715 to 1738 during the Habsburgs domination.
This heritage is the fruit long years of restoration. The citadel of Alba Iulia offers, on the first hand an imposing architecture by its monastery and its ramparts and of the second hand, a side very anchored in the local cultures with the changing of the guard and its many doors which shows the old power of the city.
A walking tour with your family or by bicycle with your friends, the city is peaceful and friendly.
Entre montagnes et vallées, Alba Iulia est probablement l’une des plus ancienne ville de Roumanie. Cette citadelle est de type Vauban et fût érigé entre 1715 et 1738 durant la domination des Hasburgs. Cet héritage est le fruit de longues années de restauration. La citadelle d’Alba Iulia offre d’une part une architecture grandiose de par son monastère et ses remparts et d’une autre part, un côté très ancré dans les cultures locales avec la relève de la garde et ses nombreuses portes qui montre l’ancienne puissance de la ville.
En famille à pied ou à vélo entre amis, la ville est paisible et accueillante.
Targu Jiu
Targu Jia is ideally located between the foothills Carpathian Mountains and the bank of the river Jiu. This city was influenced by Brancusi, one of the most important sculptor on the beginning of the 20th century. The city center of targu Jiu was the playing area for the scupltor. He has built three monumentals sculpture : the gate of the kiss, the endless column and the table of silence These are the symbol of the city.
The endless column makes you fell that you are very small but the beauty of this monument show you that the distance between the sky and you isn’t importante. This spectacular column is a place to really visit.
Targu jiu est idéalement situé entre les contreforts du mont Carpate et le lit de la rivière Jiu.
Cette ville a été influencé par l’artiste Brancusi, l’un des plus important sculpteur du début du 20ème siècle. Le centre ville de Targu Jiu fût le terrain de jeux de l’artiste. Il a construit 3 sculptures monumentales : La porte du baiser, la colonne sans fin et la table du silence. Ils sont les principals symboles de la ville.
La colonne sans fin vous fait vous sentir tout petit mais la beauté du monument vous montre que la distance entre le ciel et vous n’est pas si importante. Cette spectaculaire colonne est réellement un endroit à visiter
